동시대 소수자 운동에서 생산되는 이미지 텍스트를 관찰하고, 현장에서 그것들이 만들어내는 힘을 기록한다. 경계와 타자의 문제를 고민하는 예술가들과 교류하며, 작업의 주변부에서 나의 말과 글이 어떻게 흡수되는지 감각하고 있다. 정체성과 글쓰기가 상호연결되는 지점에서 예측할 수 없는 모양으로 변모하는 글을 탐구하며, 영상, 사진, 사운드 등의 매체로 다르게 표현가능한 글쓰기를 실험하고자 한다. 현재는 정체성, 아카이브, 수행성, 다큐멘터리, 난민성에 대한 질문을 붙잡고 있다.
I observe image-texts produced within contemporary minority movements and document the forms of power they generate on the field. Through exchanges with artists who grapple with questions of borders and otherness, I attune myself to how my words and writing are absorbed and transformed at the peripheries of artistic practice. Focusing on writing that mutates in unpredictable forms at the intersection of identity and writing, I experiment with modes of writing that can be articulated differently across media such as moving image, photography, and sound. I am currently engaged with questions of identity, archive, performativity, documentary, and refugeeness.
